        The oral cavity of the elderly is different from other ages. Many organs, including gums, teeth, oral mucosa has changed along ages and has been used for a long time. The oral cavity is fragile that needs special care. The goal is to prolong the time for the oral cavity to function for both chewing, speaking and swallowing lifelong.

 

       Each elderly person may have different physical, oral, and mental changes. Family members or caregivers of the elderly should learn and understand these oral changes in order to properly take care for both the oral cavity and the body. as well as choosing products specially developed for the elderly that are suitable for the conditions as necessary.

 

       It is wise to keep in mind that many problems relating to these problems with elderly person can be prevented if we have the understanding and care seriously our approach.
